Fauja actually not a marathon runner in his youth. This new activity he struggled when he entered 81 years. To practice, he usually ran along the 16 miles each day. Simple secret potion that is, eating curry laced ginger and lots of tea. In addition, the principle of his life, "Be thankful for what we have, stay away from negative people, and always smiled and kept running," he said. He even has a decent suggestion is followed for those who want long life and stay healthy, which is a happy life. But for Fauja, happy life is not expensive. "The secret of a happy life is like charity, healthy living and positive thinking," he said.
After eight years of practice, new in the age of 89 years, Fauja dare to race a real marathon. At that time he joined an international marathon race held in England, Flora London Marathon 2000. He recorded a travel time of 6 hours 54 minutes. Since then he has several times joined international marathon championships in both the country and Canada and the United States.
